• You have reviewed and confirmed your local laws, ordinances, and regulations regarding compliance with EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) and CARB (California Air Resources Board) guidelines, which clearly state that altering or modifying a motor vehicle pollution control system without an EO # (Executive Order Number) is illegal.
3. Legal Consequences: Installation of non-CARB approved parts on a pollution-controlled vehicle in California and cooperating states may result in actions by the DMV, such as revoking vehicle registration and failing smog inspections. Law enforcement may cite you for using illegal aftermarket parts, and your title and license plate may be seized.
